Strategy Development

This second section of the toolkit focuses on the development of strategies to implement or scale up services to support the elimination of viral hepatitis in prisons. It presents an overview of the policy framework and prison environment, before providing a step-by-step guide to developing a strategy for service implementation.

This guide, which includes the steps for conducting a comprehensive needs assessment of services to be provided inside prison, will support practical application and implementation in Section 3 of the toolkit.
